CALL FOR PAPERS!
2012 SOUTHERN ARCHIVES CONFERENCE
April 26-27, 2012
In preparation for the 2012 Southern Archives Conference Meeting in Jackson, Mississippi, the Society of Mississippi Archivists seeks paper proposals on all areas of archives and archival work. Topics might include but are not limited to: archival education or training, utilizing social media, fundraising, managing organizational records, digitization projects, outreach, and disaster recovery.
Sessions are typically 45 minutes to 1 hour in length and include 2-3 papers. For session proposals please include the title, an abstract (of approximately 500 words), and the names of the organizer and each presenter with affiliation and contact information. For individual papers please submit the same information listed above. A session will be created from submitted individual papers.
Students are encouraged to submit proposals for a paper presentation or posters on research projects or activities.
