Since the opening of the first NJ “Senior Space” in 2007,
libraries have begun to use this model of service to “reinvent” themselves.

Come, listen and participate in the 1st “Senior Spaces: Design & Program Showcase” to hear and view what has happened since then both in NJ, PA and beyond. Listen to librarians speak about how their “spaces” have helped them create a new focus of programming for older adults, how architects have developed their design concepts and why libraries big and small are embracing this concept across Pennsylvania. The day will offer unique opportunities to network with other attendees and view the latest “space” at the Montclair Public Library.

Limited to 100 participants, this workshop is aimed at those considering expanding their services to the baby boomers & older adults or considering a renovation or building project that includes a “senior space.” Get your in-person chance to speak to the experts, and hear more about the project that was the buzz at the “Reimagine, Reinvent, Reallocate: Our New Reality” program at the recent PLA Conference in Portland.
