CFP - Popular Culture

Call For Presenters
 
Are you using Popular Culture to Engage, Enhance, & Improve Literacy in your library environment? Would you like to share these ideas with your colleagues? If yes, The Popular Culture Discussion Group would like to hear from you.
 
The Popular Culture Discussion Group is looking for presenters to share with colleagues how they use popular culture to promote literacy in their environment during the ALA Conference on Saturday, June 29, 2013 (1pm - 2:30pm).
 Topics can include but are not limited to:
Readers Advisory
Collection Development
Library Instruction
Outreach & Programming
User Services
 
Presentations should 10 - 15 minutes in length plus 5 minutes for Q&A
 
Interested librarians should send brief proposals and any other questions to Kimberley Bugg (kimberleybugg@yahoo.com) by April 15th.
