Webinar - Funding for Historical Records

The Friends of California Archives and the California State Archives are
presenting a two-part webinar on Funding for Historical Records on
October 3 and October 4, 2013 from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. both days, Pacific
daylight time.



Taught by an experienced instructor, this workshop will provide
information on:



*         Grants and how they work

*         The importance of planning

*         Sources of funding for historical records

*         Matching your needs with grant agency resources

*         Writing the perfect proposal

*         How grants are evaluated

*         Managing a successful grant

*         Developing your own grant
